There Were Islands is a graduate exhibition by students of the BxNU Master of Fine Art, developed by Northumbria University and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art. The two-year postgraduate course offers ambitious artists the opportunity to participate in a unique degree programme, centred in the vibrant dynamic studio culture of the BxNU Institute of Contemporary Art at BALTIC 39.
