The first in this series of Baltic x Northumbria University talks.
Join us in Front Room for a screening of a short participatory action film, followed by an informal discussion. The film explores and demonstrates the essential aspects of creative education in the development of young people’s imaginative futures.
This event is part of Baltic and Northumbria University’s ongoing inquiry into the decimation of art teaching in primary and secondary education. The film was made with Dr Judy Thomas (now Teesside University) and Florence Darling (now Gateshead Council) with young people at Baltic and Northumbria University.
The informal discussion following the film screening will be with other invited guests and audience members.
